I personally prefer the standard models that come with the consoles with few exceptions. I like the classic controller for the Wii when that option is allowed, unless it is Super Smash Bros then it's the Gamecube controller. For the Wii U, I like the Wii Pro controller especially for the Wii U Smash Bros. My gaming style is mostly RPGs or simulations like the Final Fantasy series or Stardew Valley.
